A Bold Start with TechBee:
At the age of 19, I took my first step into the professional world through the TechBee program, a decision that would set the tone for my entire career. While others were navigating their way through college, I was immersing myself in the fast-paced world of IT. That early start gave me a unique perspective on technology, work ethic, and personal growth that continues to shape me today.
The IT Admin Adventure: Solo Responsibility:
My career officially began on November 9, 2020, when I joined as an IT Administrator. This wasn’t your typical role — I was the only person responsible for maintaining the entire IT infrastructure. From hardware issues to network failures, everything fell on my shoulders. This one-person setup forced me to develop a deep sense of responsibility and ownership over every problem. I didn’t just troubleshoot; I took full ownership of every issue, making critical decisions on the fly. This period taught me adaptability and resilience, as there was no one else to rely on but myself.
Transitioning to BIOS Validation: Learning New Layers:
In July 2022, I made a significant career shift and took on the role of Manual Tester in BIOS Validation. This transition brought new challenges and deeper technical knowledge, requiring me to understand low-level systems and participate in structured validation processes. It was here that I realized the value of teamwork, precise documentation, and an organized workflow. As I delved into BIOS testing, I recognized the potential of automation to streamline and improve processes — an idea that sparked my next career move.
Unlocking the Power of Automation:
By 2024, I made the leap into automation as a Python Automation Development Engineer. The shift from manual testing to automation wasn’t just a role change — it was a change in mindset. Python quickly became my go-to tool for developing solutions that simplified complex workflows. Writing scripts that automated repetitive tasks and expanded test coverage gave me a greater sense of impact. The best part? Automation isn’t about replacing jobs, it’s about empowering teams to work more efficiently and focus on solving smarter problems.
Balancing Work, Studies, and Personal Growth:
Alongside my work, I completed my BCA degree from SASTRA University. Now, I’m pursuing DevOps in the evenings. It’s a balancing act, but every challenge adds to my growth. Managing time between work, study, and personal life isn’t always easy, but I’m committed to learning and pushing myself to become the best engineer I can be. It’s not just about ticking off achievements; it’s about the journey of continuous improvement.
Key Lessons That Have Shaped My Career:
Throughout my journey, I’ve learned some invaluable lessons:
Refining My Work-Life Balance:
At the beginning of my career, I often found myself immersed in work, checking emails late into the night and sacrificing personal time. Over time, I realized that productivity comes from having balance. It’s not about always being available — it’s about being intentional with your time. Now, I make time for personal growth, learning, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While it’s still a work in progress, I’m learning to be better every day.
What’s Next: A Career Still in Motion:
From managing IT systems solo to building automation solutions, my journey has been one of growth, learning, and resilience. The TechBee program gave me a powerful start, but every role since has added depth to my skills and confidence. While I’m proud of how far I’ve come, I know there’s so much more ahead. The challenges excite me, the learning never stops — and the best part? I’m just getting started.
