Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala is one among the IIITs that have been established as ‘Institutions of National Importance’ by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIIT Kottayam campus is situated at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam – a picturesque location, spread over in 53 acres of land – allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state commonly referred to as God’s Own Country. IIIT Kottayam has launched the Integrated 6-Year M.Tech (iM.Tech) program for working professionals. This program is designed for individuals who have successfully completed their higher secondary education in the science stream.
HCLTech has signed an MOU with IIIT Kottayam to provide higher education through the iM.Tech Program to its employees who have completed the HCL TechBee Program. This innovative program provides best-in-class industry-suited education with a creative and global-standard curriculum. It allows individuals to improve their abilities per the most recent advancements in academics and industry. Admission to this program is proposed twice in an academic year (January and July) through an entrance exam, while the classes will be conducted online on weekends.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 in Science with Mathematics or equivalent and are deployed as full-time employees at HCLTech after successfully completing the TechBee Program are eligible to apply for higher education programs by IIIT Kottayam.
