Government of Madhya Pradesh

HCLTech signed MOU with Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Madhya Pradesh for the upliftment of school education in the state. Through this collaboration, local students will be equipped with specified knowledge, skills and values to enable them to become better human beings and achieve excellence in whatever they do. DPI is a body executing the policies of government and works towards enhancing the employability skills of the youth to empower them with better career and employment in future.
TechBee – HCL’s Early Career Program will be made accessible to more and more students across the state and DPI will facilitate mobilization of students across the state.

Government of Jammu and Kashmir

HCLTech has partnered with Samagra Shiksha, Govt of Jammu & Kashmir to increase the employability of local youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Through this collaboration, ambitious Class XII students can kickstart their IT careers at a young age.

Samagra Shiksha will help to reach out to maximum number of aspiring students and provide infrastructural support by hosting counseling/entrance examinations besides IT Labs in their schools. They will also facilitate webinars with District Welfare Officers who will educate prospective students and their families about the benefits of early career programs like TechBee. The government will also support candidates who opt for this with govt schemes wherever possible.

Government of Kerala

HCLTech has partnered with The Kerala Development and Innovation Strategy Council (K-DISC),  constituted by the Government of Kerala, to reflect new directions in technology and create a healthy and conducive ecosystem for fostering innovations in the State.
This collaboration will provide an opportunity to eligible and interested Class XII students in Kerala aspiring for an IT career to pursue TechBee – HCL’s Early Career Program.  Students from Classes VIII-IX will have to clear an aptitude test for Young Innovators Program (YIP) will be offered training in communication skills and English.
Additionally, HCLTech also signed an MOU with Unnathi (Kerala Empowerment Society), an initiative of the Government of Kerala,. Unnathi’s focus is the welfare and development of Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities of Kerala.
Local young students will be identified and mobilized from all schools spread across the state for relevant employment opportunities.

National Skill Development Corporation

Subbaraman B., VP, HCLTech exchanged MOU with Ved Mani Tiwari, COO & Officiating CEO, NSDC, on behalf of TechBee – HCL’s Early Career Program towards nurturing youth for a tech career and financial independence early in life. Complementing the Government of India’s Skill India Mission, HCLTech collaborated with National Skill Development Corporation to train youth of India in state of the art technologies over the next few years, preparing them for the ever-evolving IT sector and provide assured jobs within HCLTech. Henceforth, TechBee programs will be jointly certified by NSDC and HCLTech.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Further, the organisation provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives.

Government of Punjab

HCLTech has partnered with Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM), a society under the aegis of Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training, fully owned by the Government of Punjab. This will enable a large number of youths to take up industry-relevant training that will improve their theoretical and practical knowledge and help them in securing a better livelihood. Through the collaboration, HCLTech and PSDM aim to collaboratively bridge the gap between skilled people required by the industry and the unemployed youth. HCLTech and Government of Punjab recently signed up an MOU to encourage students from the state to skill themselves and gain employability.

The Punjab Government will sponsor 100% training fees of the first 100 selected candidates and 50% training fees for the next 100 students selected from the meritorious schools of Punjab.

Government of Mizoram

HCLTech has partnered with Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC), Govt of Mizoram to offer training to Mizo youths who have cleared Class XII with Science and Mathematics. MYC and HCLTech recently signed an MOU through which MYC assured to give ₹50,000 each to the first 50 qualified candidates.

Government of Uttar Pradesh

HCLTech recently signed a collaboration with Department of Secondary Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. This collaboration is to increase the employability of youth in Uttar Pradesh under various programs conducted by HCLTech benefitting class XII students. Department of Secondary Education will support by reaching out to eligible students across the state and in providing IT labs for assessments and counselling sessions.

Through this partnership, the govt. will support HCLTech in facilitating webinars with district education officers for awareness and school principals across UP for better outreach. Besides, the govt. will also support candidates who are joining the program through government schemes.

Government of Uttarakhand

Samagra Shiksha Scheme was initiated by merging Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE) for optimum uses of resources and synergy. Samagra Shiksha, an overarching program for school education sector extending from pre nursery to Class XII, has been prepared with the broader goal of improving school effectiveness measured in terms of equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes. It focuses on upliftment of school education and to equip children with specified knowledge, skills and values to enable them to become good human beings and productive, socially responsible citizens. It also provides universal access to quality education, equality and equity, inclusiveness, skill development and vocational exposure of students for better career and future employment.

Department of School Education Uttarakhand signed an MOU with HCLTech to collaborate and increase employability of youth in Uttarakhand through TechBee program benefitting students after Class XII.

Government of Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, set up by Govt of Tamil Nadu (GoTN), functions as the state’s nodal agency for Skill development initiatives taken by the Government.

TNSDC has signed an MOU with its registered green channel training partner HCLTech to collaborate to train 2,000 youth of Tamil Nadu. HCLTech will provide details about its Early Career program – TechBee in Naan Mudhalvan portal which gives dynamic information on higher education courses which students can explore to pursue. TNSDC will sponsor training fees for 2,000 students who have cleared class XII in current or previous year from various govt. schools. The Directorate of School Education, GoTN will also be facilitating scholar mobilization.

Government of Telangana

Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS), hitherto part of the erstwhile APSWREIS, is running 268 residential educational institutions (from Class 5 to undergraduate) in the state of Telangana under the Ministry of Scheduled Cast Development, Govt of Telangana with the aim of providing quality education to the needy and deprived children at par with other advantaged children. TSWREIS has been catering to the dire educational needs of marginalized children especially Scheduled Cast (SC) children hailing from the remote rural areas of Telangana. Over the last three decades, the Society has been cruising along the path of glory and this claim finds reflection in the way the society is excelling in academics, sports, mountaineering, communication skills, etc. The society is also making determined efforts to create an environment that builds their confidence levels, leadership and communication skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

MOU was signed between the TSWREIS and HCLTech to prepare students from Telangana to face challenges of 21st century with self-confidence and collaborative behaviour. The major task of this collaboration will be to promote a range of learning opportunities in classroom and beyond to help students realise their full potential to take advantage of opportunities in a globalized world.
