It all started when my Maths teacher informed me about a program called HCLTech TechBee and encouraged me to register. At first, I had many doubts — “What if this is a fraud?”, “What if it doesn’t work out?”, “Should I just go to a normal college like my friends?”
Still, I decided to give it a try. I traveled 28 km from my home to appear for the entrance exam. Little did I know that this would be a life-changing moment for me.
Overcoming Doubts and Taking a Leap of Faith
After clearing the entrance, the next challenge was deciding whether to join. Many of my friends and classmates discouraged me — “Don’t waste your time,” they said. “Just take a normal admission and don’t go for such programs.”
To be honest, I too was scared. There was a fee to be paid, and I wasn’t sure if I should take the risk. But deep down, I wanted to do something different. I wanted to start earning early and become self-dependent. So, I took a leap of faith, paid the fees, and enrolled in the program. Looking back, I can proudly say that it was one of the best decisions of my life.
From a Shy Student to a Confident Professional
Before joining this program, I was not confident at all. I used to feel very hesitant to speak in front of unknown people. My communication skills were weak, and public speaking seemed impossible.
But everything changed during the CRT (Corporate Readiness Training). The trainers worked hard with us — teaching us how to communicate, how to present ourselves, how to interact with clients and peers. I am so thankful to them and to the program creators.
Today, I regularly interact with clients and requesters. I can speak confidently in professional settings — something that once seemed impossible to me.
