Government of Karnataka

Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC), Govt of Karnataka, earlier known as Karnataka Vocational & Skill Development Corporation, was formed to design and implement various skill training programs based on emerging trades in multi skills considering demand of industries. It is also responsible for implementing Modular Employable Skilled (MES) short term training programs and various employment generating training programs sponsored by Government, Public Sector, Enterprises, Corporations, Boards, Local bodies and Associates.

Through HCL’s TechBee Program, the PU 2nd year passed students of Karnataka aspiring for a career in IT industry get into HCLTech as full-time employee post training. Through this collaboration it is envisaged that there will be about 25-100 students each mobilized from each district of Karnataka.

Government of Haryana

Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad (HSSPP) is primarily responsible to implement Samagra Shiksha in the entire state of Haryana. Samagra Shiksha is an integrated scheme on school education where school begins from pre-school to senior secondary levels. The vision of the scheme is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for education.

HSSPP and HCLTech signed an MOU to increase employability of youth of Haryana. Through this collaboration, HSSPP will provide one centre per district to be used for counseling, assessment, seminar and webinar facilities.

Government of Assam

HCLTech recently exchanged MOU with Directorate of Employment and Craftsmanship Training Assam (DECT), newly created under Skill Employment and Entrepreneurship Dept, Govt of Assam. This collaboration was made to increase employability of youth in Assam under various programs conducted by HCLTech for students who have cleared Class XII. Department of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Government of Assam will help in mobilization, and they will open their ITIs for counselling and testing.

MOU was also signed and exchanged between HCLTech and Assam Skill University (ASU), Government of Assam for facilitating recruitment of aspirants to join HCLTech. Henceforth ASU will also certify the candidates who clear the training.

Government of Odisha

Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) is implementing PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana), funded by NSDC (National Skill Development Program), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India and state sponsored short term training program besides helping general job seekers to get gainful employment. However, it is facing challenges in onboarding new employers/industries and thereby unable to ensure quality and desired placements.

Through this collaboration HCL TechBee will skill students post Class 12 and recruit them for entry level jobs through HCLTech. OSDA will provide space for employment exchange in seven Model Career Centres located in District Employment Exchanges in Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Rourkela, Berhampur, Keonjhar for counseling and assessment of candidates, provide data of eligible students aspiring for jobs to HCLTech and create awareness amongst youth for the TechBee program.

Government of Manipur

HCLTech has partnered with Department of Information Technologies, Government of Manipur to provide Skill Training and Employment to candidates. This program is available to candidates who have completed Class XII and meet HCL TechBee eligibility criteria. In the first phase, the Govt of Manipur has also agreed to provide financial assistance of Rs.50,000 to first 500 eligible students.

TechBee Program contributes to the “Skill India” mission of the Government of India. As part of HCLTech talent strategy, the program offers IT engineering jobs by equipping the selected 10+2 students with future-ready skills.

Government of Maharashtra

HCLTech has partnered with Government of Maharashtra to provide Skill Training and Employment to eligible candidates. This program is available to candidates who have completed Class XII and meet HCL TechBee eligibility criteria. HCLTech and Government of Maharashtra recently signed up an MOU to encourage students from the state to skill themselves and gain employability.

TechBee Program contributes to the “Skill India” mission of the Government of India. As part of HCLTech talent strategy, the program offers IT engineering jobs by equipping the selected 10+2 students with future-ready skills.

Government of Bihar

Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (BRLPS) – Jeevika run by Department of Rural Development, Govt of Bihar has been designated as the State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) for the implementation of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). BRLPS is currently working with around 10 million households on various aspects including micro financing, training and placement, livelihood generation, economic and social empowerment, among others. Jeevika has adopted a two pronged strategy in reaching out to rural poor youth – direct and skill linked placement.

Jeevika (BRLPS) signed an MOU with HCLTech to deliver meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities for eligible candidates. HCL TechBee envisages 10,000 jobs to be offered immediately.
